Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 27, 2026

Mckups (“Mckups,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates mckups.com, a showcase of free, curated design mockups. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit the site, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using mckups.com, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

Information we collect

Information you give us directly. If you use our contact form or subscribe to our newsletter, we collect the information you provide — typically your name and email address, and the content of any message you send us.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we automatically log standard technical data when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the pages you view. This is collected for security (spam and abuse prevention) and to understand how the site is used.

Cookies. We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions, analytics, and advertising. You control non-essential cookies through the consent banner shown on your first visit — you can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie Settings” link in the site footer.

How we use this information

We use the information above to: operate and secure the site; respond to messages sent through the contact form; send newsletter emails to subscribers who opted in; understand which mockups and pages are popular, so we can improve the site; and serve advertising, including personalized ads where you’ve consented to it.

Third-party services we use

We share limited data with the following third parties, each governed by their own privacy policy:

  • Google AdSense — displays advertising on the site and may use cookies to personalize ads based on your visits here and elsewhere, where you’ve given consent. You can review or opt out of personalized advertising at Google’s Ads Settings and learn more in Google’s Privacy & Terms.
  • Google Analytics — helps us understand traffic and visitor behavior in aggregate (page views, sessions, traffic sources). Learn more in Google’s Privacy & Terms.
  • Microsoft Clarity — provides anonymized session analytics (e.g., how visitors scroll and click) to help us improve the site. See Microsoft’s Privacy Statement.
  • MailerLite — powers our newsletter signup and email delivery. If you subscribe, your email address is stored with MailerLite. See MailerLite’s Privacy Policy.
  • CookieYes — manages your cookie consent choices and stores a record of your preference.
  • Adobe / affiliate partners — some download links on mockup pages are affiliate links (for example, to Adobe Stock via the Partnerize affiliate network). Clicking one may set a tracking cookie on the partner’s site so they can attribute the referral to us; this does not give us access to your personal data on that site.

Your rights

If you’re in the European Economic Area or UK, under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict how we process it, including withdrawing cookie consent at any time.

If you’re a California resident, under the CCPA you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and to opt out of its “sale” or “sharing” (as those terms are defined by the CCPA) — which for this site means opting out of personalized advertising cookies via the cookie banner.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@mckups.com.

Data retention

We keep contact-form messages and newsletter subscriptions for as long as needed to respond to you or for as long as you stay subscribed. Automatically collected technical/log data is retained only as long as needed for security and analytics purposes, then deleted or anonymized.

International data transfers

Some of the third parties above (Google, Microsoft, MailerLite) may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, these transfers rely on the provider’s own safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Children’s privacy

Mckups.com is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
