Quick note for returning visitors: this page used to point to a different file on Gumroad. That one is no longer free, so we swapped it for this template, same idea, a bag in a hand, and it costs nothing.
What’s in the free paper bag mockup PSD
- Photoshop template (PSDT), 67 MB
- 2500 × 3000 px, portrait
- Smart objects for the bag design
- Made by Graphic Burger, part of Adobe Stock’s free collection
What sells this one is the hand. A bag standing on a table looks like packaging. A bag being carried looks like someone just bought something, and that’s the feeling a shop owner wants to see when you pitch a carrier bag design. Plain kraft also forgives a lot: one-colour logos, stamps and hand-drawn type all sit naturally on the brown paper.
How to put your design on the bag
Open the template in Adobe Photoshop, double-click the smart object, paste your artwork, save and close. The paper texture and folds come back on top of your design.
Tip: try your logo in Multiply over the kraft instead of on a white box. Dark brown or black ink printed straight onto brown paper is what most real shops order, and the mockup looks far more honest that way.
Good for
Bakery and coffee shop branding, a boutique’s carrier bag, a takeaway pitch, the last slide of a logo presentation. Also handy on Instagram when you want to show a brand “in use” rather than flat on a board.
