This free Christmas card mockup is a set of three PSD scenes: a printed card with a matching green envelope, shown at two angles and once from above on a whitewashed wooden table. Every file is 4000 × 3200 px at 300 DPI, and your card design goes in through a smart object.
I’d reach for this one when a client needs to see a printed holiday card before it goes to the printer. The envelope does a lot of the work. It turns a flat graphic into something that looks like it’s about to land in a mailbox.

What’s in the free Christmas card mockup PSD
- 3 mockups: the envelope on its own, the card resting on the envelope, and a top view of the card sliding out
- 4000 × 3200 px, 300 DPI, RGB
- Layered PSD, artwork placed via smart objects
The envelope is a deep pine green in every preview. Against a red or white card that’s a lovely contrast. If your design is already mostly green, open the PSD first and check whether the envelope colour can be changed. The author doesn’t say.
How to put your card design in
Open the file in Adobe Photoshop, double-click the smart object thumbnail, paste your artwork and save. Switch back to the main document and the card updates with the angle and shadows already in place. Repeat for the other two scenes.
Paste a flattened copy of your design, not the print file itself. The mockup is for showing the card; your printer still needs the original with bleed.
Free download, attribution required
The free version is licensed for personal and commercial projects as long as you credit MockupFree. Online that means a link back; for print, follow the rules on their licence page. Redistributing the PSD itself isn’t allowed. If a client job can’t carry a credit, MockupFree’s premium plan removes the attribution requirement.
