One thing to know before you plan around the preview: the sample photos and the sample text are for display only. They are not in the download. You bring your own pictures and your own words, which is the point of a mockup anyway.
The preview mixes tall story-style frames with a phone screen and a couple of square-ish cards. I’d use the tall ones for Stories and Reels covers and the square canvas for feed posts.
How to put your photos into the Christmas Instagram template
Open the file in Adobe Photoshop, find the photo layer in the layout you want and place your image there. Then swap the headline text. That’s really it.
Two small tips. Pick photos with a warm white balance, because a cold blue shot looks oddly out of place next to candlelight. And keep the text short: “Happy Holidays from all of us” fits; a full paragraph of shipping deadlines doesn’t. Put the deadlines in the caption.
Who this holiday social media mockup is for
Small shops posting a gift guide. Photographers sending clients a “season’s greetings” story with a family shot from the autumn session. Agencies pitching a December content plan, who need six slides that look finished rather than wireframes. Cafés announcing holiday opening hours.
It’s less of a fit if your brand lives in neon or very dark tones. The whole set is built around white and natural textures, and fighting that in Photoshop takes longer than finding another template.
